No need for weighing and mixing chemicals
Simply dissolve PBS tablets into water
One tablet dissolved in 100 mL water yields buffer containing 0.01M phosphate, 0.0027M KCl and 0.137M NaCl, pH ~7.4 at 25°C

7.3 -7.5 (1 tablet/100 mL water)
Solubility
Dissolve1 tablet in 100 mL distilled water. Autoclave for 10 minutes at 115 °C. The pHwill be in the range 7.3 - 7.5. The buffer can be adjusted as desired withdilute HCl or NaOH.
Sterility
Autoclavefor 1 minutes at 115 °C
